Decompression therapy is the action of a motorized traction table that works by very gently stretching out the spine. By stretching the spine this way, there is reduced pressure on targeted discs and areas of the spine. This reduces pain and gives relief to herniated or bulging discs that put pressure on nerves that cause current pain.
Treatment for decompression is different for everybody, staff will create a treatment that is specific to your needs. During a decompression session you will be fitted into a special harness (lumbar treatment) or head rest (cervical treatment) that holds you in place comfortably. You are also given an emergency shut off switch in addition to individual staff attention. This is a relaxing treatment that is tailored to your needs.
